Loading... Please wait...Each of the images in this gallery show gardens that have been irrigated solely with greywater for over one year. Very little rainfall was experienced in the previous 12 months, yet the gardens are vibrant, exhbiting excellent growth rates.
The most common feedback we receive from customers is how much better their gardens now grow (even though we explain how greywater irrigation improves their garden rather than just 'keeping it alive').
Seeing is believing - and even then some customers scratch their heads and wonder why they didn't do this years ago.

This cottage garden is supplied by greywater from a single shower, used by two residents. Each garden bed is fed by a supply line, with individual drip lines in the beds.

The supply / distribution lines run along the fence and house, providing easy connection to drip lines, while blending into the landscape. Although the garden had been established for a number of years, growth has increased over 40% in the year since installation |

Greywater is also irrigated under the stone cover, with a drip line meandering past the grasses. Consistent growth in all of the grasses , despite varying distances from the drip line emitters to the plants, shows the benefit of capillary irrigation. An great example of 'watering the dirt' instead of traditional direct to plant irrigation. |

Another image showing consistent growth resulting from capillary irrigation. Installation of drip line and supply line for this section was completed is less than 30 minutes. |

This lawn has greywater (Bioline) drip line every 30cm, 5 cm under the turf. Grown from seed (top watering required until the lawn is established), the lawn is vigorours and green. The trees and garden beds are also irrigated with greywater. |

An example of narrow bed irrigation, with limited planting. A separate valve is used to fine tune the amount of greywater irrigated by drip line. |

Although this lawn does not have greywater irrigation, the drought tolerant nature of the lawn, and the flow of greywater within the topsoil from surrounding garden beds results in a year round green lawn. Shrubblers are used to irrigate plants within rockeries, while Tiran dripline is used to irrigate the garden beds. |
