Here are just a few examples:

House on stumps, with at least 1 metre clearance between the floor and ground.

An EcoBowser 450 is installed under the house, in the most practicle location for plumbing connections. The filter is located after the pumping unit, in an easily accessible location fro quick cleaning. Because the EcoBowser 450 is self cleaning, regular access is not required.

House on stumps with limited space available (sufficient for a skiny apprentice to gain access).

An EcoBowser 450 is located outside of the house, dur into the ground. Plumbing is rediverted direct to the EcoBowser. Diversion valves are not required due to the unique design of the EcoBowser product series, so access is not required under the house in the future. The filter is located the most practical location for ease of access (often mounted on a garden fence.

House on a concrete slab, more than 20 years old.

Generally, this style of house has separate waste pipes exiting the slab for each fixture (shower / bath / laundry etc). An EcoBowser is duh into the ground near a suitable ORG (overflow relief gully), and new plumbing installed to divert the greywater into the EcoBowser pit. Again the filter is located in the most convenient & aesthetic location.

Depending on the builder used, the waste pipes may have been joined within the slab (eg shower & toilet water combined before exiting the slab). Sadly, in this case nothing can be done with the greywater as it is already contaminated. With baths it is possible to siphon / pump water from the bath into the EcoBowser pumping unit. Another popular method is to use the Home Water Bowser (include 240L Wheelie bin to temporarily store water form the washing machine, and then hose the garden in the evening. It can also be connected to a greywater drip line irrigation system and run in automatic mode.
